INTRODUCTION

A Free Standing Column Jib Crane (also known as a Pillar-Mounted Jib Crane) is an independent, floor-mounted light-duty lifting system. Consisting of a heavy-duty vertical steel column, a rotating boom arm (jib), a slewing mechanism, and an electric or manual hoist, it operates without any structural support from building walls or facility columns.

APPLICATION SCENARIO

  • Machining & Metal Fabrication: Loading and unloading heavy workpieces onto CNC machines, lathes, and milling stations.

  • Automotive & Equipment Assembly: Precise positioning of engines, gearboxes, and heavy components along production lines.

  • Warehousing & Logistics Hubs: Stacking, sorting, and localized loading/unloading at dispatch and packaging stations.

ADVANTAGES

  • Optimized Workstation Ergonomics: Designed for high-frequency, short-distance lifting, reducing worker fatigue and eliminating waiting time for large overhead travelling cranes.

  • Compact Footprint & High Clearance: Takes up minimal floor space while delivering maximum hook height and horizontal reach.

  • Optimized Workstation Ergonomics: Designed for high-frequency, short-distance lifting, reducing worker fatigue and eliminating waiting time for large overhead travelling cranes.
